Oil and gas services company is eagerly looking to add a Staff Accountant to handle the daily accounting operations for their office located in Bakersfield, California. In this position, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring all accounting duties are completed in a timely manner. Duties will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Reconciliation, sales reporting, assistance with quarterly reviews & year-end audits, preparation of balance sheet account analysis (on a monthly basis for selected accounts), journal entries, and filing of the Form 10-Q and 10-K. Additional knowledge, skills and abilities include: knowledge of accounting practices; attention to detail and organization skills.
