Job Description:

Immediate need for a Purchasing Assist rant to work in Downtown

area in the glamorous Fashion industry.

Job Purpose: The Purchasing Associate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials that meet timely delivery, cost, and quality standards by negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers.

Deliverables:

?Collaborate with Interior Design, Visual, and Architecture departments to identify sourcing needs for various procurement items

?Procure items as assigned by the Assistant Manager

?Create purchase orders; Manage timely production, shipment, and receipt of all fixtures

?Create Request for Quotes (?RFQ?)

?Calculate costs of rolling out procured fixtures company-wide, through basic costing procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

?Must have a Bachelor?s Degree OR 2+ years of procurement experience

?Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

?Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

?Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

?Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced fashion and design environment with great demand

?Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
