Job Description:

Certification Details: Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required. Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) is also required.

Job Details:

This is a night shift position that requires floating to the AHDL OB as needed.

The hospital is a 254-bed acute care hospital and 20 primary and specialty care medical offices.

Job Responsibilities:

* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients.

* Supervise and direct nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.

* Collect and analyze data to determine diagnosis and care issues.

* Develop and implement plans to attain outcomes.

* Evaluate progress and identify outcomes.

* Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient care.

* Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients and families.

* Participate in discharge planning.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

* Acute care facility experience is preferred.

* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.

* CPR or BLS certification is required.

Unit Specific Information:

This unit provides labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum and newborn services.
