What does the role entail?

An intermediate pizza cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.

- Follows recipes to ensure a high-quality product

- Experience working with pizza dough

- Follow sanitation guidelines to ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned

- Time management

- Teamwork

- Refined verbal communication skills

- Organization

- Ability to work well under pressure

- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

- 2 years of previous line experience preferred.

- Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

- Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.

- Able to work single station in the kitchen.

- Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.

- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight.

- California Food Handlers Certification required.
