Job DescriptionAs a key member of our team, you will assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. You will lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, analyzing sales reports and labor to inform business decisions.
• Assist the Team Leader in resolving team concerns and issues, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Develop advanced product knowledge and maintain awareness of new products to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
• Function as the point person and departmental person in charge in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
• Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
• Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations, promoting growth and development within the team.Job Skills

    • 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.Working Conditions
      • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
      • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
      • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
      • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
      • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
      • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
      • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
      • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
      • Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
