Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel responsible
for advising on employment law and managing intellectual property
matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise senior leadership on federal and state employment regulatory
and compliance matters
Provide proactive employment law advice on hiring, leaves, wage
compliance, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Partner with outside counsel to grow and maintain the intellectual
property portfolio
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of combined top law firm and/or in-house experience
Strong background in California employment law
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and bar admission in California
required
Credibility to interact with senior executive levels internally and
externally
Prior in-house experience preferred
