Job Description:

Responsible for leading strategic initiatives across the supply chain and the organization to drive change and improvements for the organization.

Manages all supply chain initiatives, including vendor partners to ensure they meet all project and quality specifications domestically as well as internationally.

Manages all warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout.

Oversee all processes related to planning, purchasing, inventory and quality assurance initiatives.

Manages all distribution objectives by training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees; communicates job expectations, planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures.

Deploy continuous efforts to improve distribution and transportation efforts as well as inventory controls.

Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.

Accountable for developing and managing supplier relationship with vendors. Participates in Sourcing initiatives and supplier reviews.

Direct overall 3rd party manufacturing operations, engineering and quality initiatives on a global level.

Achieves warehouse operations - operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.

Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

Negotiate contracts as needed with 3rd party vendors.
