Job DescriptionENSCO Inc is a diverse engineering and technology company that provides engineering, science and advanced technology solutions that guarantee mission success, safety, and security to governments and private industries worldwide.We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Ground Communications Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/BC) portfolio. The position is available in El Segundo, California.Duties include but are not limited to:- Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency.- Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs related to ground communication systems, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.- Provide technical oversight of development efforts (i.e., design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, production and sustainment) whether they are traditional acquisition methods (e.g., waterfall, spiral, etc.) or agile/prototype.- Support development of operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs; evolve system architectures, conduct and analyze requirements flow down, propose verification methodologies and mitigation approaches.Qualifications Required (Skills)-MS/MA with more than 10 years of experience- Experience in remote site surveys, equipment transportation, installation, checkout, testing, and maintenance- Experience in ground systems engineering and analysis- Experience in networking and communications systems engineering, design, testing, and maintenance- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.- Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
