Our team provides continuous support to educators, identifying ideal positions based on their unique skills and preferences.**About the Role**We're seeking a qualified Teacher Assistant to work with our partner schools in Orange County. As a key member of our team, you'll support licensed teachers, provide individualized support to students, and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing lessons
• Provide individualized support to students, including reinforcing instructed material and adapting to their learning needs
• Compile classroom communications and maintain accurate records
• Ensure a safe and organized learning environment
• Utilize various learning methods to enhance student experiences and provide support as needed
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as toileting, as required**Requirements**
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or two years of college (48 units), or an associate's degree (or higher)
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting instruction**Preferred Qualifications**
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher
    • ParaPro Certification or similar
    • Past work experience in a school setting
    • Experience working with students with special educational needs**Additional Requirements**
      • US Work Authorization; Zen Educate cannot sponsor employment visas or provide relocation assistance at this time
      • Proficiency in English**Compensation**The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
